Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing analysis and design activities for project or system enhancement to meet business goals and objectives, as well as assist Project Manager to plan and monitor progress of projects and subordinates
  • Thoroughly understand user requirements
  • Analyze the supporting systems to perform study so as to recommend different system approaches to fulfill users' needs as specified in BRS
  • Prepare and review system development deliverables in project development and implementation phases
  • Assist Project Manager to perform resource planning and allocation to development tasks
  • Assist Project Manager to monitor progress to ensure the project is on track in terms of quality,

delivery milestone and cost

  • Provide professional advice on business related activities within project development cycle

Job Requirements:

  • University graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines with a minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in IT solution delivery, preferably in Insurance or medical-related fields
  • In-depth formal system development experience, preferably in J2EE and PowerBuilder platforms with collaboration with other technology domains
  • Able to work independently and proactively to deliver according to schedule with strong analytical, problem solving, supervision and organizing skills and experience
  • Able to lead a team of developers on system development activities throughout the system development life cycle
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese

International Accountant

Job Description

  • Closing of monthly accounts for various entities in compliance with US and local generally accepted accounting principles and local regulatory rules, statutory reporting and tax filings.
  • Monitor and control intercompany transactions, verify accuracy and validity.
  • Prepare and execute multi-country financial statement consolidation in accordance with GAAP.
  • Stay current on recent FASB and IFRS pronouncements.
  • Record, reconcile, analyze and report accounting and financial information used by management.
  • Ensure finance operations and internal controls are in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all monthly and quarterly accounting close requirements are met.
  • Interface with the internal and external auditors, tax agents and lawyers.
  • Monitor, analyze and reconcile related general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.

  • Actively participates in Oracle system project upgrade.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy/ACCA with CPA qualifications.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of local generally accepted accounting principles in Asia
  • Solid consolidations and US GAAP experience.
